Affenpinscher
(Monkey Dog, Affens)
Do you have a photo of an
Affenpinscher?
The Affenpinscher originated in Germany in the 1600s, where
he was used as a ratter. Now rare in Germany and more common in
the US, although a larger variety of the breed became extinct
at the beginning of the 20th Century.
With a face covered in coarse hair and a profuse moustache
and beard, the Affenpinscher is comical to look at and is often
described as "mischeivous"! He doesn't take well to training
and has a tendency to snap.
